Anaphylaxis Training training in Newcastle

Course overview

Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening allergic reaction that can develop within seconds or minutes of exposure to a trigger such as certain foods, insect stings, medicines or latex. When it happens, knowing what to do — and doing it quickly — can save a life. Our 2 hours Anaphylaxis Training course in Newcastle upon Tyne gives you the practical knowledge and hands-on confidence to act decisively in an emergency.

This is a focused, interactive session built around real-world response. You will learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, understand common triggers, and practise using adrenaline auto-injectors — including EpiPen and Jext trainer devices — so you leave confident with the technique. We also cover when and how to call 999 and how to care for someone until help arrives.

The course runs at Pottery Bank Community Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne, or we can deliver it on site at your own premises for groups. Per-person places start from £25, and on-site group sessions are from £395 for up to 12 learners. Every attendee receives a Skills Training Group certificate valid for 3 years.
