Mental Health First Aid training in Newcastle

Course overview

Mental ill health is now one of the leading causes of workplace absence, and many employers want a clear, confident first point of support when a colleague is struggling. Our Mental Health First Aid course in Newcastle gives your people exactly that. Over 2 days at Pottery Bank Community Centre, learners build the skills to recognise when someone may be facing a mental health challenge, hold a supportive conversation, and guide them toward the right professional and workplace help.

The course leads to the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Mental Health: Workplace First Aider, an Ofqual-regulated, nationally recognised qualification awarded by Qualsafe Awards. It is designed for Newcastle upon Tyne employers who take wellbeing seriously, and it works just as well for retail, education, corporate offices, healthcare, manufacturing and beyond. Sessions are practical and discussion-led, with real-world scenarios that build genuine confidence.

You can train with us at our Newcastle venue, or we can deliver the course on site to your team. Whichever you choose, the focus stays the same: helping you reduce stigma, spot problems earlier, support colleagues appropriately and build a more open, mentally healthy culture at work.
